SIMILES

SIMILES is a form of comparison. for example;
to roar like a lion                    to sleep like a log
to cry like a baby                   to swim like a fish
to run like a deer                    to die like flies
to sleep like a log                   to stick like a glue
to eat like a wolf                    to go like a flash
to fight like a demon              to tremble like a leaf
eg;
I was very tired after the football training and I slept like a log.

SIMILES
Similes are used to compare two things that are alike in some ways.
eg;
as black as coal                as cold as ice
as clear as crystal            as cunning as a fox
as easy as ABC                 as fast as a deer
as fit as a fiddle                as hard as iron
as quick as lightning        as sharp as a needle
as slow as a snail             as strong as an ox
as tall as a giant               as white as snow
as big as an elephant      as brave as a  lion
as busy as a bee              as loud as thunder
as proud as a peacock    as red as rose
as sharp as a needle       as slow as a snail
as sweet as honey          as pale as death
as thin as a rake              as blind as a bat
